i created a new board ( You must be logged in to see this link. ). in the administrator account, i created several forums/categories. i then created a new (non-administrator) user account to test my board. i am not able to view any of the forums/categories while logged on in my non-administrator account, but they are visible when i am logged on in my administrator account.

How do i get the forums/categories to be visible to the users of my board?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You had "require registration" turned on in the admin area.

This solution did not work.
As stated before, the non-administrative account that i set-up cannot see any of the categories nor forums. i even set-up a new account today and it had the same problem. Both of these accounts are "registered" unless i misunderstand what it means to be registered. But whether "require registration" is turned off or on, neither setting allows my two user accounts to view the categories/forums while my administration account can view them.

If you have any further advice, i would be glad to hear it. Again, thanks in advance for your assisance.

You have created a number of categories but no forums in them, thats why they do not show to normal users. I created one forum in the General Discussions category called General which normal users should now be able to see. You will need to create forums in each category before they can be viewed.
