When watching "Active User" area, I am finding a particular "guest" is constantly there, thousands of minutes in a row, and appears to be able to access "members only" areas... How is this possible?

This guest's IP address is:

66.249.66.11

I have sent this question as a "problem ticket" a couple of times, and have gotten zero response from Forumco.

Its Google. You should be able to click on the i.p. address and it should tell you who it is.

At the moment the helpdesk is overloaded with thousands of spam messages and its impossible to tell the legitimate queries from the junk. I've been working on fixing it but it looks like I will have to withdraw it altogether and just use the support forums.

What is your forum url ?

You can only get rid of them by removing the ads.

Its a robot which is used to spider the text on the page.

Correct. The Google ad robot (for example) uses a spider to find out what the text is on the page and then serves relevant ads.
