Sorry to repeat this question, but I am puzzled as to how to change the default smilies, particularly to animated ones. Could you please give me a step-by-step idiot's guide to this?

Just upload them here - You must be logged in to see this link.

Be careful of the filesize, they must be under 3kb. Right click an animated gif and select properties. It should give you the filesize.

If you have problem, post what happens here with as much detail as possible.

I've uploaded a couple of animated gifs: the ones that appear on the admin page have addresses in the following format: You must be logged in to see this link.

whereas the original on the posting page has the following address:
You must be logged in to see this link.

It's ok, I've sorted it thanks! Changed images directory in forum directory.
