Hi! My forum is You must be logged in to see this link. and I'm setting up the board for the first time. I logged in as a normal member, and saw the members can delete their own posts, and was wondering where in admin control I can disable this? I've clicked what I thought was everywere, but was wondering if I was missing something? Can't wait to hear from you!

They can delete their own posts if no-one has replied. Users have to be able to edit their posts in order to correct things like spelling, ambiguous meaning, etc.

If you are worried about people posting something inflamatory, having someone respond and then deleting the original post then you should just quote the original topic in any replies so they cannot edit/delete it.

is there a way to disable regular members being able to edit and/or delete their own postings?

I don't want regular members to be able to edit (and therefore also effectively delete) their postings.

help?
