Why is this and what can I do to help it? The page I just loaded took 27 sec. I usually can load a page in .03 sec. It's been slow like this off an on and usually at night. Suggestions??

We usually run backups at this time which causes a slight slowdown. In your case, the fact that you have so many forums on your board doesn't help. If you're logging in as admin, page loading times will take longer so try to use an account that isn't an admin when you're not doing admin stuff.

Can you give me any more info on when it happens? What page you're viewing etc ?

My forums are also running extremely slow this morning - I've had the same problem as Katy with the home page loading slowly, but then it seemed to be fine. Now, all pages are taking a long time to load.

Its caused by Google downloading large forum sitemaps. I'm monitoring the situation and will keep you updated.

Loading has gotten better for my forum, seems when it does do it, it's early evening for me. Could be because there is a lot of traffic on the forum?

I can assure you that the webserver is not under any stress even at the busiest times of the day. Currently at peak times it uses 15%-20% of the cpu's available to it. You shouldn't be seeing this problem now. Your forum loads in about one second for me.
