I have a forum user who has just e-mailed me stating that messages she had in her inbox and outbox have suddenly just "disappeared" -

I've noticed this happening in my own outbox - as a message I was wanting to keep as a "record of occurrence" was suddenly missing.

I know that other users do not have access to another individual's private messages unless they have that person's user ID and password - however, my question is this using my experience as an example - if the person I wrote the message to deleted their message in their inbox - would that delete the message from my outbox?

I don't know. I will have to check it out.

If you do want to keep a record of anything the best way is to save it locally to your own computer.

I have noticed this too and did some checking. When you have a pm in your outbox that you sent and the person you sent the message to deletes it from their inbox it will delete it from your outbox. Hope that helps.

hmmmm.. I didn't know that. If you really want it changed post in the Updates thread and I'll investigate.
