is it possible to add a chat room to forum co sites ??? if so please tell me its quite simple to do please

You cannot add one directly. You would have to use a remotely hosted one. I usually recommend You must be logged in to see this link.

I have been looking for chat software which I can integrate into the forums but haven't found anything suitable so far.

omg...you should put chat into the forums...i know myspace uses userplane chat system...as do i....but im sure my users would love not having to register twice

i use everwherechat its cool free and i dont know the link haha

You would have to enable html on your forum and include the code in a post (make it sticky). Or you could incude the code on a page in your website.

when i enable html i have to turn forum code off which means i also have to turn off the ability to have images in posts ....is there no other way ??? ta

You can still have images in posts but you have to use html to show them. The only way around it for the moment is to have the chat code on your website instead and use the forum to link to it.
