My members and I are wondering what happens to a forum after we stop making payments for the free-ad service. Some of them are afraid that you will delete the forums. Please let me know so I can tell my users.

We don't support free forums anymore so we usually delete a forum when we receive a cancel request.

Can you not delete my forums as of yet. We're still planning to move to a new forum and I would like to keep this one until we've completly moved. My forum is You must be logged in to see this link.

Once you login and update your cc info, the waiting payments will be processed. We don't delete forums straight away, there is a grace period.

Ok, I'm a little worried here, if I decide to start paying for add free service but then decide that it's not for me, and go back to my normal banner supported service it will be deleted???

Eventually.

Its two years since we offered free forums. The advertising market never recovered and some companies screwed us royally. If we didn't move over to a paid service we wouldn't have been able to support the free (or otherwise) forums at all. I'm not a monster either. For our long term users (which you are) I'm sure I could find some other solution if you couldn't afford to pay for your forum anymore.

Padriac my friend, I would NEVER consider you a monster, afterall your help and support has been nothing but first class. I think many forget that the services you offer are a priviledge, so thankyou my friend.
