I've been trying to get my website frame around my forum board (as I've seen on other sites). But can't seem to manage it.

I've tried uploading a blank web page (Hosted by UK2NET) & linking to it but it doesn't seem to work.

What am I doing wrong?

Any help appreciated. PS - I'm an amateur not an IT professional so laypersons language would be appreciated.

Thanks

Sheila

url is kiddingaside.net

Looked at the link, unzipped it and then couldn't work out what I was supposed to do with it next!

Also, I can't get our logo to upload to top left either.

Any help much appreciated.

Hi,

I have looked at your forum, in order to get the logo on your forum working, use this link;
You must be logged in to see this link.

As for the frames, it is not difficult to creat a web site with frames. I noticed you have used Front Page to create your web site. If you dont have much knowldge of designing and building a web site with or without frames, product such as Front Page and Dreamweawer makes things a lot simpler and easier. Just follow the instructions and help documents provided by these products and you will have a site running with frames with easy. You can also use the templates provided by these producs or using the Front Page etc just open up the ForumCo template(You must be logged in to see this link.) Padraic has mentioned.

Hope that made sense. Just follow the instructions provided by Front Page to create a web site with frames.

Thanks Leon

I've used that link and it has worked so that is one problem solved

I'll take a look at the frames issue later & see if I can sort it out.
I'll let you know what happens

Thanks for the help

On reflection, I've decided I like to look without the frame (you can see more forums etc on the page). I've tweaked the colours so it looks more corporate & that facility is a real help.

If I decide to add the frames at a later date & I can't work it out I'll get back to you again.

Thanks for the help
