Hi,
I am trying to send an e-mail notification to my members, and it seems to not be working. I've done it before, and find it a useful feature.
Thanks,
BIG Sean Madigan

Hi Padraic,
No, No error message. It's as if there is no action being taken. I press the button, and nothing.

Can you send me an email of what you are trying to send.
There are no known problems. 247 members should take a little while but not forever.
I may do a test later by sending something out through your forum. |

I just sent a test message and can confirm that it was sent without problem.
My guess is that the above email will be sent if you wait long enough. Its quite a bit larger than my test message (which took about 5 mins).
Try again, trim it a bit if you want and wait until either it tells you the mesage was sent or that there was an error. |

Hi Padraic,
Thanks for the help. I just sent the message this morning. I made the message about half the size...maybe that helped.
Thanks again,

Larger messages should be allowed, however our host provides the mail server not us so we are not directly responsible for it. A lot depends on server load at the time of sending, bandwidth available and of course the size of the message.
Glad it got sent in the end. |
