Is there anyway to change the settings so new members can see all old posts and not have it stuck on the last 30 days? Just wondering.

They would have to change the date range from the forum themselves if I remember correctly.

Its a user setting, not a forum setting. The value is held in a cookie on the users computer.

I've never tried it but I imagine that if it was set to something like three months it would have a significant effect on performance.
