I submitted my first registration application and was sent an e-mail to my preferred e-mail address. But when I copied and pasted the (entire) link in, I got the message that the "Activation Code was not found".
I then re-registered with an alternative e-mail address and the activation code worked just fine that time.
The trouble is, as I have fairly strict e-mail controls set up on AOL in order to cut down on spam, I like to use the first e-mail address I tried to register with when joining new sites.
So once I had logged in with my second username, I tried to change my e-mail address to my preferred (first choice) one - but got the message that that e-mail address was "already in use - try another one"!!!
Well, I'm rapidly running out of new e-mail addresses I can use, due to the e-mail controls I have set up on my other accounts. So what I want to know is will my "first choice" e-mail address be accepted after a certain period of time? Or is that now completely unusable for the foreseeable future?!!!
