Hi,
I am sending mails through the MailMessage object. It does not give any error but the message does not go and the message get queued in the "C:\Inetpub\mailroot\Queue" folder. After 2-3 hrs they go ...but i cannot figure out how long they actually take before they get mailed.
In addition if i go to the EventViewer i can see a Warning whose Source is "SMTPSVC" and the description says "Message delivery to the remote domain 'hotmail.com' failed for the following reason: The connection was dropped by the remote host.".....i do get a mail in the queued folder which says "Delivery to the following recipients has been delayed." before themail actually goes.
How do i fix this problem.
