The next version of the forum software we use is currently being tested. It is a completely new version written from the ground up by one guy, HuwR.

Currently he is looking for testers to try to find bugs.

If you have a few minutes please register and try to break it (seriously). Post any error messages in the bug reports forum (or here if you cannot).

Thanks.

Thank u i see it gone now.. i was wondering what the was.. What was it anyhow?
Admin Posted - 06/25/2008 : 17:42:44
You shouldn't have access to that page. The link to it should be gone now. It has nothing to do with upgrading as you mean it.

Here is the Admin thread where it says on the right side Check Installation (Run after each upgrade

Its a long way away yet. Thats just the base version without any mods.
LovingAConvict Posted - 06/23/2008 : 18:10:23
Is Forumco sites capable of being imported to that new site??
Admin Posted - 06/23/2008 : 17:49:12
This is the current version - http://snitz.reddiweb.com/default.aspx

Release Candidate 1.
LovingAConvict Posted - 06/22/2008 : 16:53:43
Anymore news about the New Forum?
Admin Posted - 05/01/2008 : 18:05:54
It will be a long time before all the mods are added to the new version. Its a completely new version written in a completely new language. The database schema used is quite similar so it should be no problem to import topics, replies, members, etc. After I have finished deleting the old forums I'll see if I can add a few new features.

It will be a long time before the dotNet version will be in use here. There's still a lot of work to be done on it.
